MSec supports YDYS keynote sessions
17th April 2016.
Attendee list closed. Content of Book of Abstracts fixed.
Dear Colleagues,
we have received a lot of e-mails expressing your interest in the conference, which we are very glad about.
Please note that the attendee list is now closed, which means we will not pre-register any more auditors.
Please keep in mind that unregistered auditors will be allowed in only if there is sufficient room in the conference halls. This means that you might not always be able to secure a chair. This applies especially to the keynote lectures, during which the entire audience will be assembled in a single hall.
Also, a note to all participants: please keep in mind that core of the Book of Abstracts has been finalized and we will not be accepting any more changes regarding paper titles/abstract content.
Any changes introduced from now on will pertain exclusively to the description of the keynote sessions, or to the graphic aspect of the file.
21st March 2016.
A note to prospective conference attendees
Dear potential attendee,
we are witnessing sustained interest in the conference, so we have set up an auditors' booking register. There is no charge for auditors to attend the event and we are hoping to accommodate as many people as possible, but there are limits to any venue's capacity so we have to keep track of numbers.
Please register by sending an e-mail to ydys.confer@gmail.com. Please do so only if your intention to attend is firm.
If you need to make costly or complex travel and accommodation bookings in order to attend the event, please get confirmation of place availability from us before proceeding.
We thank you for your cooperation.

Conference programme available on-line
Dear Colleagues,
the current version of the conference programme is now available for download. Please note that it is still subject to minor changes. The final version will be made available in due course.
Please find other downloadable files (including the pre-final version of the Book of Abstracts) in the Files section.

IMPORTANT: Venue change
Dear Colleagues,

Travel bursaries for student participants
The YDYS Organizing Committee would like to support student conference participants by distributing a few travel bursaries.
To apply for the bursary, please download in the following form.
Please fill the form electronically and submit it by the 17th of February 2016 by sending it to ydys.confer@gmail.com. Please mark the attached file with your name (e.g. Smith_ydys_travel_busary_form.doc) and put Travel bursary form as message subject.
NOTE: Each application should be followed by a recommendation from an academic referee (see below). Recommendations should be sent to ydys.confer@gmail.com by the 17th of February 2016. The name of the applicant should be included in the message title (e.g. Smith travel bursary recommendation).
Keep in mind that the committee will distribute between 4 and 6 bursaries (depending on awards). Note that these are intended to cover (or supplement) travel expenses only. Eligible candidates must be students (including PhD students) whose papers have been accepted for presentation at the YDYS conference.
The maximum amount granted will be 300 EUR for continental, and 750 EUR for trans-continental travel. However, the actual amounts received will depend on the number of accepted applicants and their needs.
The Committee will evaluate the applications by the 24th of February 2016.
Please note that the funds will be disbursed via PayPal after your arrival at the conference, upon submission of receipts related to travel expenses.

26th January 2016.
Dear Colleagues,
thank you very much for all you paper proposals. We have received a great number of exciting submissions - we are delighted to see yoga research thrive all around the globe.
After a long - and not at all easy - discussion, we have managed to select a batch papers to be featured in the final schedule.
By now, you should have received an e-mail informing you, whether your paper has been accepted or rejected. In case you have not received such notice, please contact us promptly.
We would like to make clear, that the proposals were of really high quality, and a decision of rejection was usually related to the perceived compatibility of the paper with the overall theme of the conference, rather than to any doubts regarding its value.
We will provide you with information regarding fee payments, conference schedule and accomodation soon.
